Choose one workflow
Download the CSV worksheet and open it in your preferred spreadsheet app. Copy the rows for each supplier you evaluate. Start with a workflow your team already performs, such as rescheduling a shared-room appointment or returning an online purchase in a shop.
Include the start condition, the people involved and the result that confirms completion. Add one exception. Keep the example concrete enough to demonstrate.
Record evidence, not impressions
For each requirement, record the evidence you saw: a demonstrated journey, a written answer or a contractual commitment. Mark unanswered questions as unconfirmed.
Describe setup, integrations and manual work separately. A polished presentation can still leave a critical handoff unresolved; use the evidence column to keep that distinction visible.
Assign the next question
Give every unresolved item an owner and a next action. For example, ask the operations lead to confirm room rules or ask the supplier to demonstrate a partial return.
Agree which requirements are essential before assigning scores. A high total score should not conceal a missing capability your business cannot work without. The template intentionally does not supply arbitrary weights.
Use the worksheet in a product discussion
Bring your completed workflow and open questions to a conversation with Ignite. It helps the discussion focus on your operating requirements, the people using the software and what a useful next step would look like.
Questions to take with you
- What outcome must the workflow produce?
- Which exception needs a demonstration?
- Who owns the unresolved decision?
- What evidence would let your team make a choice?
